Before you begin
Keep these ready so you can finish in one sitting.
A verified Propdart account
Email and mobile confirmed. Owners also complete one-time Aadhaar or PAN KYC.
Proof of ownership or authorisation
Sale deed, allotment letter, latest property-tax receipt, or a signed Authority Letter from the owner.
Photos that meet our spec
Minimum 6, maximum 30. JPG or PNG, landscape, at least 1600 × 1200 px, under 8 MB each.
Floor plan — optional, recommended
PDF or PNG, under 5 MB. Listings with a floor plan see 2.4× more enquiries.
Asking price and key facts
Carpet area, built-up area, BHK, age of property, furnishing status, and society name.

Open the post-property flow
Sign in and click Post Property in the top navigation, or go to Dashboard → My Listings → Add New.
Select listing type and intent
Choose Sell, Rent or PG / Co-living, then pick a category — Residential, Commercial or Plot / Land. This selection cannot be changed later; create a new listing if you need a different type.
Enter location and address
Type the society or street name and select a suggestion from the autocomplete. Drag the map pin to the exact tower or gate. Tick Hide exact address from public view if you only want verified buyers to see the door number.
Fill the property details
Complete every field marked with a red asterisk — carpet area, BHK, bathrooms, balconies, age, furnishing, parking and facing. Add amenities under Society Features.
Set your asking price. Turn on Price is negotiable to invite offers. Turn on Hide my contact to stay anonymous — enquiries still reach you via the Propdart inbox.
Upload photos and floor plan
Click Upload Photos and add a minimum of six images. Drag tiles to reorder — the first image becomes the cover. Use Add Floor Plan for a PDF or PNG. Hit AI Enhance to auto-straighten and correct exposure on each photo.
Write the description
Add a headline (max 70 characters) and a description (max 1,500 characters). Click Generate with AI to draft a compliant description from the details you have entered — review, edit, accept.
Preview and publish
Click Preview to see the listing the way buyers will. When ready, click Submit for Review. Our moderation team verifies within 4 working hours and pushes it live; you receive an email and an in-app notification.

Common failures
Self-service fixes for the errors we see most often.
“Photos failed to upload”
File is over 8 MB or in HEIC format. Compress to JPG/PNG under 8 MB and retry. On iPhone, switch Settings → Camera → Formats to Most Compatible.“Address could not be verified”
Society not yet in our database. Type the full address manually and drag the pin to the building. Our team adds the society within 24 hours.“Listing rejected — duplicate detected”
Another active listing exists for the same unit. Mark the older listing as Sold / Rented from My Listings, or contact listings@propdart.com with proof of authorisation.“Listing pending more than 24 hours”
Queue is unusually deep or a document is unclear. Open the listing and check Moderator Notes at the top. Reply inline or attach the missing document.“Cannot edit price after publish”
Price edits are locked for the first 24 hours to deter bait pricing. Use Edit Listing after the cool-off, or write to support to override with a documented reason.“KYC verification failed”
Name on PAN or Aadhaar does not match the account name. Update your profile name from Account Settings → Personal Info and re-submit KYC.
